Personal Statement
I am Isaac Mitchener, a scholar/athlete from Raleigh, NC and my goal is to play college lacrosse. I have played many sports: soccer, basketball, baseball, swimming, wrestling and golf, but lacrosse is the sport that I am most passionate about. One of my strengths is my game IQ. Because I have played so many other sports I believe this has enhanced my ability to read the field and anticipate the opposition. I also love the workouts, the strategy, the intensity and pushing with my boys on the field and fighting for a win. On a personal level, I have a close family. My older sister currently plays collegiate volleyball and my parents both played sports in college. My parents are hard working professionals and I have learned a lot from them.
