Personal Statement
Softball is one of my many passions. Softball is so important to me because it has shaped me to who I am today. I have started at shortstop since freshmen year, and was voted captain my sophomore year. I started playing when I was 6 years old and joined my club team at 10. I played little league for 6 years, and was in All-Stars for 4. I am excited about pursuing the opportunities of playing college softball. This sport has taught me respect, teamwork, leadership and how to have a good work ethic. On and off the field, I strive to live this out. I am very involved in leadership class at school, as well as having the opportunity to be a class officer sophomore year.
