Raw Pitching footage

by Ireonna Scott

DESCRIPTION

These are just a few quick clips of my pitching in Winter with Raiders, and one short appearance with BHS this past spring. This gives you an idea of my basic pitching mechanics. I never had training from anyone until last year, so I know I need work, but I am willing to do whatever it takes.

Hitting Drills February 2018

by Ireonna Scott

DESCRIPTION

This is rough footage of me doing hitting drills this winter. In the flamingo drill, I am working on driving my backside down through the ball. In the knob to knee drill, I am working on feeling less restrictive movements and gaining a lot of power.

Quick Pitching footage from 10/5

by Ireonna Scott

DESCRIPTION

Prior to 9/2017 I have not had any professional training for pitching. My mother has been the only pitching coach I have had. I recently started the Varsity Program at Planet Fastpitch, and know I have a lot of work to do, especially learning how to use my legs, and work spots. I have been clocked in games and practices between 57-59 and I am looking forward to improving this off-season.
