Personal Statement
I'm Helayne Dechant, in class 2026, and from Lucas, Texas. I play midfield and I’m willing to take draw or play on the circle. I enjoy hitting the wall, shooting, improving my stick skills, and increasing my lacrosse IQ. As a multi-sport athlete, I run in track, it helps teach me how to spread out my time evenly throughout school & sports. It's tough, but I enjoy being a multi-sport athlete, as it prepares me to play at a higher level of lacrosse. I enjoy playing midfield because it allows me to be at every point in the game, defensively & offensively. While attending college, I'm seeking a pre-veterinary, chemistry, or biology degree so I can go on to become a veterinarian.
