Hi! I'm Harper Freeman, I've been swimming competitively since the age of six and have always felt at ease in the water. I currently swim for Machine Aquatics which is based in Vienna, Virginia, with their National group. Swimming changed significantly from being something I do after school to more of a defining characteristic when I joined my high school swim team. The sense of team, rather than self, became one of the things I love most about the sport. As I have grown, I have learned many life skills that are helpful in and out of the pool; such as time management, perseverance, goal setting, and sense of accomplishment.
