Personal Statement
I have been playing volleyball since 4th grade, throughout the past years I have had many challenges. I’ve gotten injured multiple times and set backs with my mental health, but I am drawn to the court and have never given up. Even when injured, I always find comfort being in the gym with my coaches and teammates, I continued to learn and find ways I can improve my skill when I get back. My goals outside of volleyball is to major in psychology and become a psychologist. I would prefer to work with adolescent athletes. Overall I am very committed and passionate about volleyball, the sport comes along with great people and has helped shape me into the person I am today.
