Personal Statement
Hi! I’ve always been a competitive, multi-sport athlete- playing everything I could. I started playing volleyball in 4th grade and fell in love with it! I played all positions, but developed a passion for setting and being a leader on the court. I was excited to be chosen as setter for Varsity as a Freshman. In the past I played for Prime Time, but this winter I've switched to Illini Elite to get a higher level training. I believe that I have the skills and traits that a college program would look for. These include coach-ability, positive mindset, being a smart player, and the ability to move forward during the game and not stay focused on previous plays.
