Personal Statement
Coaches, Since I was young, softball has been a big part of my life. In the beginning softball was just an escape for me to have fun, be with friends, and to play the sport. Overtime I became aware of my love and passion for the sport which all began from catching. When I started catching it made me realize that I could be involved in every play. I was able to see the whole field and use a different perspective to impact the game. Not only was I able to use strategy and skill, but I could communicate and build my teammates up. Whether I am behind the plate, batting, or at first base, there is always an opportunity to improve. These opportunities, along with the game and family that comes with it, is why I am so determined to play at a higher level.
