Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Grace. I started playing softball before I started school. It wasn't my first sport - that was gymnastics, and I played soccer too - but I loved softball because I could play catch with my parents and sometimes I got to play with my older sister's team. When we moved across the country in third grade, softball helped me find my place - the field became a home, my teammates became my new friends, and pushing myself to improve became my focus. When I'm not playing or practicing, I like to be with my friends, play with my dog, listen to music, run, read and go on vacation (beach trips).
