Personal Statement
My name is Gia Purcell and I am a defender for the Ultimate Carolina 2025 Blue team, while also starting varsity for Topsail High school. I am a very dedicated student with a GPA of 4.25. I started lacrosse when I was 13 years old, I switched from basketball, which has given me the unique ability to see the field and cause turnovers. I pride myself on my ability to get ground balls, clear the ball up the field, and make that last defensive play. My commitment to strength and conditioning has helped me excel in my speed, agility, and overall fitness. In the winter I compete in track for my school. I love Lacrosse, it is very important to me and I am working for the opportunity to play in college. My future team can expect me to be uplifting, social, self aware and very coachable.
