Personal Statement
My name is Gabrielle, and I am 16 years old. I played competitive soccer for 10 years, six of which I played as a goalie. I started playing volleyball when I was 7 and joined club in 6th grade. I fell in love with the sport and retired from soccer in 2022 to focus on volleyball full time. I still referee soccer and was the manager for the varsity girls soccer team at my high school for 2 years. I love volunteering and earned the Presidential Service Gold Award for my 100+ service hours at the Heritage Farmstead Museum. I have a little sister, Coco, who also plays competitive volleyball. We have two adorable dogs, Ginger (4 lb poodle) and Ivan (a husky who we adopted after fostering him). My family loves adventures and exploring new places together. Instagram: @gabriellehewesvb26
