Personal Statement
I have played field hockey for 5 years and it quickly became my absolute favorite sport. Competing is a part of my life, and I thrive under pressure, both academically and athletically, while having to balance both. I have started on my high school's varsity team since I was a freshman. Academically, I hope to be my class's valedictorian, as I have recently discovered that I have the current highest GPA in my class. Athletically, I hope to perform well at NIT's with my team CNY Rage. This dream of playing field hockey in college has developed over the years and I have worked hard to fulfill it. I am extremely dedicated in the classroom and on the field, and I will be sure to display that as a student-athlete. My goal is to be challenged to become the best field hockey player I can be.
