Personal Statement
My name is Faith Newton, and I am a guard playing for NSSA Blizzard out of Massachusetts. I have made my high school varsity basketball team since freshman year and am really excited to lead my team as the captain next year. I am currently involved in a club at school called Samantha’s Harvest where we do things to give back to the community. I also play Lacrosse and have a part-time job working with kids at a party place called Cowabungas. In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and family and my dog Gary. I love the game of basketball, and it has been a big part of my life since third grade. Doing well in school is really important to me too, so I want to focus on being a successful athlete and student while I’m at college.
