Evan Hawkes

My goal is to play at a college where I can push myself on the field and in the classroom. I'm pursuing the highest possible competition at the right school, and I'm looking forward to a successful college career, making myself and my parents proud. I am a technically sound player. My biggest advantage over the competition is speed. Being a guy who gets on and steals bases compliments my ability to hit for average. I've thrived in centerfield for both my high school and summer teams because of my quick reads, speed and accurate arm. I am a smart player who listens well and is very coachable. I am working hard at the gym and eating right to optimize my physicality to match my talent on the field. I look forward to finding the best match for my athletic and academic future.
