Personal Statement
Hi. I’m Ethan Hornstein and I attend syosset high school. I am also a player for beast 2027 American. I am a right handed pitcher and first baseman. Ever since I was younger on the field and off the field baseball has been a passion for me. Since I was 6 years old I have been a die hard Mets fan and as I have been looking up to Pete Alonso ever since he entered the league. When I’m not playing I give lessons to kindergartners and first graders and try to make baseball fun for them. I also umpire for syosset little league. In school I love taking business classes and engaging in business extra curriculars because it exposes me to a different industry outside of the major subjects they teach at school. I am very dedicated on and off the field and will continue to improve my game every day.
