Personal Statement
Aloha! I am a setter from Kapolei, Hawaii and a student at ‘Iolani School as part of the Class of 2028. I’ve played volleyball since the age of 11 and have been passionate ever since. Through volleyball I have learned the importance of communication, hard work, and most importantly, staying calm under pressure. My goal is to translate these qualities into the classroom as I want to take my skills to the next level, playing collegiate volleyball. I am fully committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve this goal. I am interested in studying psychology or veterinary science; however, I am open to exploring other majors as well.
