Personal Statement
I strive to play at the next level & am highly motivated by challenges & competition. My goal for Freshman year was to start as shortstop for Poteau Varsity Softball. I knew that this would take a lot of work and discipline and I achieved it. Mid-season I was HBP, which broke & dislocated my finger. I was determined to finish that game & help my team win the Tournament against a huge rival. I was moved to 2nd to finish the game and remained there the rest of the season. This injury taught me a valuable lesson, play wherever your team needs you to and do a job! We competed in 4A State Tournament & I am proud to have played a small part in that achievement. I have grown as a player and teammate & look forward to continuing this journey as a softball player.
