Personal Statement
My name is Emma Ickes and I am a 2026 Defender from Wakefield, Massachusetts. I play for HGR lacrosse out of North Andover, Massachusetts on their 2026 team. If not the lacrosse field, you can find me on the basketball courts or in my home gym. In addition to being an avid athlete I also enjoy practicing my art and the means of creativity. I am a proponent of mental health for student athletes and have been lucky enough to explore these topics in my role as ambassador for the MIAA and Morgan’s Message. I am very interested in studying business or economics and eventually pursuing a law degree and I feel strongly about my needs academically and as an athlete. I hold myself to high standards on the field and in the classroom as I am 14th in my class academically.
