Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Emma Hiss. I fell in love with softball at a young age, always hoping to play at the next level. I am currently a junior attending Columbia City High School, where I have a GPA of 3.92 and I participate on the school Volleyball and Softball teams. I’m also an 8 year (so far!) 4H member. I play for the Indiana Gators 07 Shappell—some of my teammates and coaches I have been with since 8U! I started my softball career as a pitcher and fell in love with that position. I also played SS and 3B. I was recently challenged with playing an outfield spot and I grew to love it as well. I can play pretty much any position…except catcher. With the hope of playing at the collegiate level, I push myself to get at least 1% better every day. Thank you for looking at my profile.
