Emily Picolla

I have been playing lacrosse for 9 years and currently play on Monster Elite and Tri-City travel. I am also the starting goalie for my varsity team. As a three-sport athlete, I have learned the value of hard work, learning from losses, and working as a team to succeed. Because of sports, I have been introduced to many new people. My family has billeted higher-level athletes from around the world, who have inspired me to work towards playing sports in college, explore new cultures, and start learning a new language. My family has played a large role in my development. They have encouraged me to work hard in school to prepare myself for a successful future. I hope to attend a college where I can experience new cultures, play on a collegiate level team, and receive a good education.
