Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Emily Nestor, and I'm a 5'6 L. My story began in 3rd grade and ever since, volleyball has played a significant role in my life and my passion burns both on and off the court. Volleyball has never been just a game to me. It’s become a way of life shaping my personality with vital skills such as discipline, resilience, leadership, and teamwork. Outside of volleyball, I have embarked on my journey to achieve the Cambridge AICE Diploma, by the end of my senior year I will have completed over 7 college level courses. I also enjoy meditation everyday, going to the gym, playing the ukulele and volunteering. I believe that my skills, work ethic, and love for the game make me a valuable addition to any team.
