Personal Statement
My name is Emily Harden and I am a 2025 setter! I want to study architecture and play college volleyball. I have been playing volleyball for 9 years and have made strong connections with many players and coaches. Throughout my years of playing I have learned to be a versatile player. Playing volleyball has been my way of gaining organization skills, time management skills and my “get away” from everything else that may have been going on in my life. What sets me different from other setters is my height. Although I am 5’6, it does not stop me from getting where I need to be. I have trained hard to reach a 9ft’3in vertical. I hope to excel to the next level of volleyball!
