Emily Hanchey

The saying goes "blondes have more fun" but I say red heads run faster. I say that to get your attention....and because I am a red head...and I run fast. I love base running and stealing bases. In softball, my passion is defense. Academically, I am about to enter my senior year. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while being an athlete and working part time as a barista. I am pursuing dental hygiene as my area of study in college. When I was younger I wanted to be a brain surgeon but realized I didn't want to deal with the sadness of potentially loosing a patient. The idea was overwhelmingly sad to me. Instead I chose dental hygiene because I would rather deal with smiles all day....changing the world one smile at time (cheesy, but true).
