What I love about this sport is the voice I can bring and the risks I can take. I try to set the tone and consistently encourage my teammates to give their all. I’ve learned a lot from this game and I feel like my role is to share what I've learned with my teammates and encourage them to do the same. I always try to fill in where the team is in need, and it excites me to learn from others. I think creating connections on the team is key to creating success. I find this to be true when you learn to trust each other and encourage each other to use their strengths, but also take risks. Taking risks is what I have tried to do to bring my team together, and personally grow. I encourage myself and others to try new things , whether that is incorporating new people, ideas, or techniques.
