Personal Statement
I was team captain on my club and high school teams. As a freshman, I was invited to play with our varsity team in CIF and state. I’m a versatile player and have played as a setter and an outside/opposite, back row and front row. I am a fierce competitor. I also earned MVP on my 14’s club travel team. I’ve been selected for SoCal’s 15-2’s National team, and will be coached by Colleen Jones. I also train beach with Olympian Eric Sato. I display leadership on and off the court. I’m taking one pre-AP course and two honor courses. My GPA is 4.00 and I’m pursuing the IB diploma. I am not sure what I want to study in college, but I know that I want it to be something to do with either art, architecture, or animal studies (marine biology).
