Personal Statement
My name is Ellie Pond, and I am a freshman at Salt Lake Community College. I play mainly shortstop and second base and have also spent some time at third. I am currently hitting third in the lineup. I have a deep desire to continue playing softball at the D1 level. I am a good teammate and have excelled at school so far, maintaining a 3.8 GPA. I would be very interested in learning more about my skills and what I could bring to your team. Thank you for your consideration. I prepped at Ridgeline High School in Millville, Utah. My team won the 4A State Championships in 2022 and 2024 and was runner up in 2023. I am a three-time 1st Team All-State Selection.
