Hello my name is Ella Nelson and I am a 2024 SS/UTL player from Jay, FL where I attend Jay High School. I was the starting SS on our Varsity team as a 7th grader, where I had a fielding percentage of .987. I also play travel ball for Gulf Coast Firecrackers out of Jay, FL where I am the youngest on the team. I primarily play shortstop with an overhand velocity of 60 and a fielding percentage of .946. I am a smart, but aggressive base-runner with 13 stolen bases. I am a true utility player and can play anywhere a coach needs me to play. I also work hard in the classroom and have a current GPA of 4.5. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
