Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Ella Athey-Stapleton, a RHP and 1B, playing softball out of Virginia Beach. I started playing softball when I lived in Tucson, Arizona when I was 7 years old. I am a junior starting on the Cox HS Varsity softball team. I also play for the regional travel team Hampton Roads Warriors - Purple and Stars National Team (NC - 16U/Gerovac). I love to compete! And I really enjoy being part of a second family with my teams. As a pitcher, I love the ability to make an impact in the circle. Some of my favorite players are Danielle O'Toole, Dejah Mulipola, Mo Mercado and Devyn Netz. Outside of softball, I enjoy cheering on the Houston Astros, reading, listening to music and traveling.
