Personal Statement
My name is Elizabeth (Liz) McElveen and I am a Libero/Setter from the South Carolina area. I have been playing travel volleyball since I was in the 4th grade. I am on my 5th season playing for Carolina Union Volleyball club where I have always played on their top team. I am starting my 3rd season with them as Libero. I made my high school varsity volleyball team as a freshman where I was not only a starter but a 6 rotation player. My position for high school consisted of setting, hitting and DS. I am doing the same for my high school season my sophomore year. I was nominated for the JVA 2020 and 2021 watch list, 2021 Prep Volleyball watch list for 2023 liberos/defensive specialist and also the 2020 AVCA Phenom List.
