Personal Statement
Hi! I'm Elizabeth Helwig, and I'm a sophomore at Gahanna Lincoln! I started seriously playing volleyball in 8th grade, deciding to give club a chance after realizing I enjoyed playing it for school. I played for 2 years at Rogue Volleyball in Gahanna, and moved to Elite East in Gahanna this year. I've switched from outside, to DS, to rightside, to middle, to rightside, so it's safe to say that though I'm primarily a front row player, I can hold my own in any position! Though Volleyball is a very big part of my life, I also very involved in the arts, and hope to pursue that path into college and beyond.
