Personal Statement
My name is Eliza Small and I am currently a 10th grader at Berwick Academy, a PK-12 private school in South Berwick, Maine where I have been a member of the girl's varsity soccer team for the last three seasons (since 8th grade). I am also a member of the 2006 Seacoast United DPL team out of Epping, NH. As a defensive player, my greatest strengths are my quickness, closing speed and ability to distribute and cross the ball effectively, and I am working hard to improve my composure in tight spaces and the consistency of my first touch. I am looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of a college soccer program that values academic as much as athletic success. I also play varsity lacrosse, participate in student government and enjoy skiing, snowboarding, rock climbing and paddling.
