Because IL HS baseball & VB are played during the same season, I had chosen baseball since I had been playing it longer than VB. Then I had a growth spurt and decided to give VB another shot. As a junior, I played club & HS varsity VB as an outside hitter. (I was a setter in 6th-8th grade.) My HS team won their first ever Regional Championship. In my second year at a new club, Sky High, my gameplay improved significantly. I excelled as an outside/right-side hitter, server, and passer. I am putting everything that I have learned thus far toward leading my HS team to repeat as Regional Champions. Having a very successful HS season last year and an equally successful season at Sky High whet my appetite to pursue VB at the college level. Please see JVA Boys Watch List - Class of 2023.
