Personal Statement
I think people will tell you I am a pretty leveled headed person. Not much phases me, which is why I think I like being on the mound. I am in my own little world, competing. In addition to working hard physically, I think I have gotten a lot tougher, mentally, in recent years after losing my Mom to cancer. It has driven me to work hard for what I want since I know that is what she wanted most for me, in addition to being a good person.
