Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Devin Foley, I've played baseball for as long as I can remember. Growing up I wasn't the best but I never let that stop me from striving to get better. During my 13U season, I lost the battle for the starting catcher spot and played minimally that season, I felt defeated, and realized I needed to do something about it. So I got to work, I worked every day to get better at baseball. Going into my 14U season I was the best I had ever been at that point and won the starting spot. It felt amazing but I also knew It could be taken away as quickly as it was granted so, I kept working. Throughout this process, my love for the game has grown immensely and I can't imagine life without it.
