Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Desiree Shoblo, Class of 2027. Softball is my first love. Not just the games but I love putting in the work during practices and lessons that lead up to game day. I take pride in defense as much as my offense. I am proud of my 4.0 GPA and think it carries over to my on-the-field softball I.Q. I also play varsity basketball for Alameda High School as well as club basketball for Cal Stars EYBL. I not only enjoy the game, but also the family that being part a team creates. When I’m not playing sports, I enjoy helping my younger sister and brother in their sports, as well as reading, art, and baking. I strive to work hard, both on and off the field so I can achieve my dream of playing college softball while pursing my higher education. Thank you for viewing my page.
