Derick Santiago is a military basketball player who has played in Europe, Japan, and USA, 6’3 combo guard. He is a true team player with excellent court vision, defending the 1-3 position, and can shoot and finish at the rim. Derick's play-making ability, court vision & ability to score at all three levels makes him tough to guard. This kid turned a lot of heads over the spring and summer seasons. He has a lot of upsides. High IQ, Nice stroke, showed the ability to knock down 3’s & midrange all summer. He competes on the defensive end. Talented, long defender forced guys into tough shots and had multiple blocks at the rim.
