Personal Statement
My name is Delilah Hyland. I am currently a MB playing for the IC Catholic Prep Varsity vb team out of Elmhurst, Il. I have been part of the varsity squad since fr year. I have been a starter since soph year. In 2023 I recorded 156 kills and 83 blocks while my team finished 2nd in state in class 2A for the 2nd straight year. I am currently involved in the ambassador program at my school, volunteer as an athletic camp counselor and am a rotary youth leadership council member. Volleyball is a huge part of my life. My family, which consists of 4 sisters and 1 brother, is my support system. I am very dedicated and disciplined as a student athlete and look forward to continuing my career as a student athlete in college.
