Personal Statement
I’m David Villavicencio, a junior at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT, currently set to graduate in the year 2026. I play as a left fullback, wingback, and winger known for my speed and crosses on the ball. In my style of play, I like to overlap with my wingers as well as take players on down the sideline to deliver whipped in crosses. I play for Hartford Athletic’s U19 team where we compete in the USL Academy and UPSL Premier Division. I’ve been linked with USL Championship side Hartford Athletic’s first team ever since I was 14, and this season I was promoted to train with their first team. I trained with them all summer and even played in a couple club friendlies against USL 2 opponents. I have a 4.0 GPA, taking honors and AP classes, and intend to study business in college.
