Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Dakota Hansen. I am a multi-sport athlete playing lacrosse, basketball, as well as running XC at Ward Melville High School. I play for Team 91 LI Mayhem and Team 91 National, where I am a starting defender/draw taker. As a defender I have very strong communication skills, quick slides from the pipe, and lots of caused turnovers and ground balls which lead to fast transitions up the field. I am a very positive teammate and give 100% on and off of the field. I am taking all AP and honor level courses, and I plan to graduate high school with an additional certificate in business! I am a member of the Fishing Club, Student Government and NJHS. I love to read, go fishing, and see new things, especially national parks! I am looking forward to what this new chapter entails!
