Personal Statement
My name is Courtney Miller and I am graduating from Monte Vista Christian in 2023. I am a multisport athlete and I work hard in everything that I do. I live in Morgan Hill, California, and I have played volleyball, basketball, and travel soccer my whole life. One day I decided to try something new and I tried out for a high school lacrosse team when I was only 11. I continued to play for them until 7th grade. MV did not have a lacrosse team but in 8th grade they decided to start one up and I was a big part of that first team. In addition to lacrosse, I own a horse and compete competitively as a show jumper. Equestrian is a huge part of my life and has taught me so much. I have learned to care for an animal all on my own and it is a huge responsibility, but it has helped me grow so much.
