Personal Statement
Hello! Thank you for viewing my profile. Class of 2024 at Lake Washington HS, in Kirkland, WA. My main position is shortstop, I can also play 2nd, outfield, and 3rd. I pride myself on my aggressive infielder's mindset, with good footwork and judgement. I swing in the right batter’s box, where I hit line shots to every corner and gap of the field for RBI’s and extra base hits. My power has greatly improved in the last year and I’m now hitting numerous homeruns. I stay smart on the field, and classroom. I have a 4.0 unweighted GPA and take classes seriously; I also take AP classes and play saxophone in my school’s Jazz Band. My goal is to play competitive softball in college while having a fun, positive experience. I love to compete, while greatly valuing optimism, and good sportsmanship
