Personal Statement
My name is Chloe Maughan and I currently play for NC Academy 17 Diamond (L/DS). Athletics have always been a huge part of my life. My parents were both DI athletes and instilled the importance of hard work and discipline from a young age. Before playing volleyball, I was a competitive gymnast which provided an excellent foundation/skill set for volleyball. I have been a member of the varsity volleyball team for all 3 of my HS years, and was honored to receive the Defensive Player of the Year Award as a sophomore. I have 5 years of club experience (2 as setter) and I am very excited for the upcoming club season where I will be competing against the best teams in the country! My goal is to play collegiate volleyball at the highest level possible, while pursuing a degree in the medical field.
