Personal Statement
Having grown up around professional sports with my dad playing Major League Baseball and now coaching with the Pittsburgh Pirates, I have seen the hard work and dedication that it takes to excel at the highest levels of sport. My brother is playing Division I baseball at the University of Arizona and my desire is to achieve as much, if not more, than both of them. I've played softball, basketball, and volleyball, and have now decided to focus all my efforts on volleyball. Ultimately, I just love to compete. Whether it's working in the weight room to increase my strength and vertical jump, or playing my heart out on the court, I thrive in competition. I'm excited to begin my own journey playing Division I collegiate volleyball with the goal of winning a national championship.
