Personal Statement
To begin, I've always tried to be the best teammate I can be and do whatever is necessary to better my teammates. I believe I've thrived as an off-ball defender and having a voice on the field, as well as always being willing to fight for a ground ball or slide hard to my opponent. Over this past season, I solidified my spot as a vocal leader on the field and will continue to do so. This past year, I have learned to use my size and speed to my advantage on-ball, rather than having it be a disadvantage. I believe I have improved my on-ball defense these past years, and today I have the confidence to guard any attackman or midfielder no matter their size. I have worked with my coaches to learn and play the game the right way, with heart and motivation.
