Personal Statement
Before softball, family and academics come first. I am fortunate to have both a tight knit immediate family and extended. I have always taken great delight in school. I love the challenge of taking honors classes/AP classes because of the critical thinking I am pushed to do. Since I was little I have had a genuine passion for reading books. I particularly enjoy historical fiction and WWII reads. Softball has always been my happy place. I am a power hitter and I am not afraid to lay my body out on defense. I take pride when coaches describe me as 'hardworking, coachable and a good teammate'. My dream is to be able to play softball at a college/university that matches my long term academic goals.
