Personal Statement
My name is Charlie Silva, and I am a junior at Waiakea High School in Hilo, Hawai’i. My goal is to play soccer at the collegiate level and pursue a career in medicine. I am very passionate about soccer. I’ve played soccer since I was five years old. My positions range from attacking to outside midfielder, but I can adapt to any position. Versatility is one of my strengths and definitely one of my greatest assets. I pride myself on being able to strategize on the field and read and understand the game well. I am coachable and willing to put my best effort forward while communicating in a positive and constructive manner. Keeping a 4.0 is also a priority of mine, which derives from discipline and my passion for academics.
