Personal Statement
My name is Charlie Ackermann and I’m a Junior at The Pingry School, graduating in 2025. I play LSM and Close Defense for Pingry Varsity, 3D Garden State, Nations Best and 3D National. I'm a Captain of my high school '24-'25 Pingry Varsity team. I have been a starter on Varsity my junior and sophomore years. This year I earned the honor of Second Team, Skylands conference. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and skiing. I also play soccer at Pingry and write/edit for Vital Signs, a world news magazine created by my classmates and me. Senior year, I also plan to do ski team or play basketball in the winter- I haven't decided yet. Finally, I look forward to playing college lacrosse because I enjoy the camaraderie of a team and want it to be a big part of my college experience.
