Personal Statement
My passion for goalkeeping was inspired watching Corey Crawford play goaltender for the Blackhawks when I was 5 years old. The position of goalkeeper is the most exciting on the soccer field, and being a leader on the field is my favorite aspect of being a goalkeeper. Athleticism is one of my strengths and developed from playing multiple sports and different soccer positions. My competitive nature drives me to improve on and off the field. I work equally hard at school and challenge myself by taking several AP and honors classes. My goal is to attend a college that will challenge me academically and athletically, and to develop into the best goalkeeper I can be.
