Charles DeVooght

I joined my older brother’s soccer team when I was four years old and have loved the game ever since. Outside of playing on my club and high school varsity teams, I volunteer with younger players at camps and working as a coach for the JFC Junior Academy. I believe it is important to serve others, so I organized a jersey drive for my church’s mission trip. As a student athlete, it is important to take challenging classes, and I’m taking all AP and Honors classes except one. I also serve as an officer in FCA and was chosen to be a captain for my school's varsity team and as a counselor for the 9th grade orientation. To make me a strong player, I lift weights regularly. I hope to combine my interest in athletics and leadership as a sports management major with plans to attend law school.
