Personal Statement
I have a very competitive drive and play my best in the most competitive situations. I’m happiest when I’m on the court, but I also like to fish, hunt, go to football games, and travel to the beach, lake & mountains. I have a very close group of friends and family and I like to spend downtime relaxing with them when I'm not playing or training. Seven family members played collegiate sports, including my dad, grandfather and great-grandfather who played football for the Texas Longhorns and my sister who plays lacrosse for the University of Michigan, so I believe I especially understand the commitment and lifelong benefits related to playing in college. I'm hoping to play for a strong, progressing volleyball program with top academics, lots of school spirit and an interesting campus!
